Robin Ripley

Studio 352

Using a variety of media, Robin Ripley’s work draws attention to the often overlooked. Time and touch are integral to her work. Since receiving her BFA from Emily Carr, the language of objects and the way people connect with the common materials that surround them has been a recurring theme in her work. Her use of salvaged materials mirrors her interest in both their formal haptic qualities and their cultural history, while also reflecting her environmental concerns.

She has exhibited regularly and participated in a variety of community art projects.  Her work is found in both private and public collections.
